NEW YORK, NY (February 26, 2020) –91’s Aid announced today the appointments of Michael Greenberg as its new chief financial officer and Rhonda Braxton as vice president of Health and Wellness. Greenberg will oversee all of the agency's financial matters, including financial reporting, audits, the annual operating budget, payroll, and purchasing, among other areas. Braxton will oversee all 91 clinical services and wellness programming to support the growth and development of children and youth in the communities we serve. Both started with the agency in early February.
“Michael brings extensive financial expertise to 91’s Aid, and has the business acumen and management experience to serve our broad needs. With wide experience as a lead financial officer at multiple nonprofit organizations, I know his contributions will greatly support our mission in the fight against childhood poverty,” said 91’s Aid President and CEO Phoebe C. Boyer.
With more than 30 years in the nonprofit sector and private industry beforehand, Greenberg is an experienced financial leader and an accomplished nonprofit chief financial officer. Most recently, he served as chief financial and administrative officer at Amnesty International, and has also held senior leadership positions at The END Fund, Acumen, Environmental Defense Fund, and Human Rights First. Before his nonprofit involvement, Greenberg worked with startup technology companies and the reinsurance sector; he began his career with KPMG.
Braxton joins 91’s Aid with more than 20 years’ experience in strategic planning, financial management, program expansion, and staff development. For nearly a decade, she served as director of the Adolescent Health Center at The Door, and more recently, has held executive leadership positions at Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center and Girl Scouts USA.
